Dreams and a Crown

There’s a being right in the middle of the soft pasture,

A lonesome figure I must investigate.

The closer I am, the bigger the rapture.

Such intensity I anticipate!

Standing as high as me…

Like a clone, how could this be?

Skin as pleasant and appealing as gold,

Hair as kinky and alive, gracing the eyes of my soul.

And the face...her face beholds pools of luscious orbits where you may call eyes.

I’m embracing her true beauty as she has not yet smiled, I realized.

Our fingertips touch, electricity has sparkles throughout my body.

Thrown off by the jolt of energy, like a kid learning karate.

All the love and riches in the world could not surpass this moment!

I’ve dreamt of a time where I appreciate simplicity.

Hold my head, with my crown, high—ferociously,

As if they were trying to get me.

The oppressors, collectors, the “remember when I did this you” motherf*ckers…

This field has given new life, a breath I never took.

With hopes and dreams sleeping through my veins, this whole setting has me shook!

I just wanna hold her hand, get her to notice the everlasting heavens surrounding her.

Get her to understand, she is safe on this mother land, from the corrupt man.

That sucker doesn't stand a chance!

But as I reach out to grab her hand, her small delicate hand—I can’t.

Her hands, by one look, led me to believe this is just a dream.

Who else would know how my hands seem?
