I'm not a mule, I'm not a burden.
I am a human being putting words in.
Into my talent, into my goals.
The world will not see me fold.
I must go along this path, whether you are here or not.
If I succumb to your objections, my esteem may trot.
Down a hill, into a ditch.
I really don't care if you see me as a "mean bitch".
Sometimes the lonesome isolation can be overwhelming.
However, my success story is going to be charming.
Rape and abuse led to disrepair, a state of neglect.
I am older, so in order to grow, I must reflect.
On those times of joy after the the pain.
Acknowledging what I positively gained.
A new conscious, a better mentality...
So how are you offended from my new reality?
Protection over peace and space, not everyone can get a taste.
I've explained my healing, 3rd time is a waste.
Leave me be if you can't simply understand.
This is sacred, this is armed--get the fuck off my land.
You're not welcomed-yes, you're banned.
I'm growing and your clouded mind won't let you understand.
Simplicity at its finest yet you're still a victim.
Too bad you're too slow for this upbeat rhythm.

I love the last two lines of this..i felt what you were trying to convey..there is nothing wrong if from your heart it is what you say.. and thats real
